What is your view about using social media? Should I post videos on there, Facebook? Tiktok? Or just random posts giving a brief version of an elevator pitch?
Thank you for the kick in the arse. Applying for jobs today feels the same as applying to advertising jobs back in the 90s. And back then, resumes were not emailed, you had to MAIL them! And you had to really stand out from all the other resumes and portfolios that were sent in or it went in the trash. Back then you also had to find out who was doing the hiring and almost stalk them to get an interview. Sounds like the same idea today. I don’t t know why I was hoping the digital age would make the job application process any easier. I have to put more effort in. Thank you for the reminder.
If I am applying for similar positions, HRBP type roles, should I be changing my resume for each job posting or is a general HRBP specific resume ok? Is this the time where I need to be tailoring each and every submission? Thank you! Elise Herr
